3 things Army discovered about the newly rescued Chibok girl (photo)

Troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE on Thursday, January 5, discovered one of the abducted Chibok School girls, Rakiya Abubkar, the Nigerian Army has revealed.

According to a statement by Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman, the director Army Public Relations, Rakiya Abubkar was discovered during investigation of arrested suspected Boko Haram terrorists.

But aside Abubkar's discovery, the Nigerian Army also made other discoveries about the Chibok girl.

NAIJ.com has listed three discoveries made by the Nigerian Army.

1. Rakiya Abubkar was rescued alongside her six months old baby.

2. According to preliminary investigation, it was discovered she is the daughter of Abubakar Gali Mulima and Habiba Abubakar of Chibok.

3. Abubkar says she was a student of Senior Secondary School Class 3B (SS 3B), before her abduction along with her colleagues on 14th April 2014 by the Boko Haram terrorists.

Meanwhile, Abubkar is presently undergoing further medical investigation and would soon be released to the Borno state government.
