85,000 candidates to sit for JAMB mop-up exam
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has urged candidates who will sit for the mop-up test of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination on Saturday to print their e-slips.
The board had rescheduled about 85,000 candidates who registered late or had technical hitches during the conduct of the examination in May, to write the mop-up test on July 1.
In a statement signed by the Head, Public Affairs Unit of JAMB, Mr. Fabian Benjamin, on Wednesday, concerned candidates were asked to print their e-slips from Wednesday (today, from their e-mail addresses or the website of the board.
He said, “A bulk short message service has equally been sent to the telephone numbers provided by the candidates during the registration. The board implores the candidates to ensure that their e- slips are printed on or before the examination as no excuse will be entertained.”
